Build complete but

Post by S_Bang »

Hi. Build complete, but - no numbers in the number display below the dial
Possible cause? Any tips? Phone is charged and lights up as per the manual when switched on.
Buttons, they are very rickety and prone to sticking/vanishing inside the shell, even though the phone shell is snug all round. Should they have some sort of padding or something to make them sit flush? Or are they supposed to be glued in place?

Also, a blue flash each time the dial reaches completion/fingerstop, this is correct?
Back display/e-paper looks to work ok, all letters intact/the legend with Rotary Unsmart Phone.

I think you have a phone with Justine's old firmware preloaded. It might help to first flash our new rewrite of the firmware. The instructions are here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2P ... orLRnM/pub

Hi
I get the following error message:
Sketch uses 574 bytes (0%) of program storage space. Maximum is 130560 bytes.
Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 8183 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 8192 bytes.

avrdude: error reading system wide configuration file ".../Documents/Arduino/hardware/MegaCore-master/avr/avrdude.conf"

Any tips on where I go wrong?
