Re: Assembly

Great job with the assembly! Glad the rotary is working well. Yes it took quite some trial and error to get the process just right. The bell mallet has been a sticking point for me too and I have a design change to the mechanical parts coming along in CAD. I won't have new injection molded parts mad...

Re: Received my kit!

Hi Navalynt, Not sure if you sent me an email directly or not... if it wasn't you someone else had the same problem so there must be an important misunderstanding about the assembly process. Basically, I don't know how this could happen if it's assembled right, so I'm going to go ahead and send you ...

Re: Missing Parts

They have Robert, I know I'm a couple days late with my emails. But they went out Wednesday I think (or whenever I said).

Re: Missing Parts

Hi Dan,

I'll go ahead and send you some, sorry! I called it PTFE and got it on McMaster-Carr but you have to get a pretty long piece of it and you need so little, so I'll drop it in the mail. Also, I'm trying to remember if it's *actually* PTFE (might not be).

Re: Received my kit!

At this point, I am a little confused/concerned about what is going to hold the going barrel at the right distance from the mother board...just friction between the dial hub and shaft? But, I guess I will see. I did originally have a gluing step for the Dial Hub to the Shaft, but there's quite a bi...

Re: Received my kit!

Hi Bertram,

Yes, I sent you two because I didn't have your preference on file for some reason and didn't want to delay sending.

Directional springs:

I'll have to chastise my mother for inconsistent bagging! Will send those ASAP.

Re: Received my kit!

Yeahhh the definite inclusion of the hot glue gun was kind of last minute on my part. There's a definite workaround for the OLED display, but the thing with the antenna casing is that it's hard to superglue the edge without the white CA residue getting everywhere from the superglue. I'd like to keep...

Re: Received my kit!

I saw the email and haven't replied yet, but you're right, the drawing's wrong. Thank you so much for catching that. I noted it in the instructions but haven't corrected the drawing yet. Btw I actually got rid of the lock nut on the next iteration of the Daughterboard design... it'll have a soldered...
